Love Yourself Through Creative Expressions, (L.Y.T.C.E.) is committed to encouraging youth of all ages to love, respect, and celebrate their uniqueness, while also practicing mutual respect and awareness for the individualism of others.
Using Creative Arts/Spoken Word as the gateway to accomplishing its goals, L.Y.T.C.E., incorporates a variety of creative activities which attract, engage, encourage and inspire youth to discover their individual gifts and talents. Realizing their true self-worth uncovers the powerful contributions they have to offer not only to their immediate environment, but their world!
Many of today's youth more than ever struggle with depression, self-loathing and an overall hopelessness that cannot be ignored. Everyone and anyone who can share a positive thought with young people should do so every chance they get.
It is vital that today's young generation have a voice which serves as a vessel of empowerment, encouraging them to tell thier own stories in their own words from a positive and healing perspective.
